Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Summit area of a hill with natural outcrops and talus. Rocks consist of granitized two-mica orthogneisses up to metagranites. They represent old intrusives in paragneisses and migmatites of the Monotonous Group of the Bohemian Moldanubicum.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
Stratigraphy: proterozoikum

Geological phenomenon: frost cliff, rock, outcrop, block field
Genesis: metamorphic (general metamorphism), magmatic, glacigenic (glacier activity)
